No. Wellness coordination is non-medical support and organization. We do not provide nursing or medical treatment. We make sure the medical care a person already receives is scheduled, tracked, and coordinated, and we flag concerns to the right provider.
Wellness coordination supports individuals served under Indiana BDDS by keeping the health side of their plan organized and on track. We coordinate with case managers and providers and help families understand what their Waiver supports.
We support medication management with organization, reminders, and watching for conflicts across prescriptions. Actual prescribing and dispensing stay with the medical providers and pharmacy; we keep the routine on track and flag issues.
